Did anybody else burn the image and find the second bank of 50 skins empty?  Did anybody find them intact?

OK, this post probably belongs in a noob forum, but I gotta ask...

in WSFTP or FlashFXP, every time I try to ChMod the dash file it tells me "Error 502 - the Site is not implemented"

I guess I need a more direct hint...

sound like EvoX :)Its more easy to delete the dash and do a switch or the best way:
check in irc and download the updated working mxm-based ubercool switchdisk - only 11 MB!!!

blink.gif  I'm assuming it's something I havent setup right, cuz it will look like it's installing apps, but when i try to load, every folder is empty (checked thru ftp as well).

I was having a similar problem.  It was the media/Thomson DVD-ROM.  First time I burned on CDRW and sometimes it would boot, sometimes it wouldn't.  When it did sometimes I saw all the files and sometimes I didn't.

I burned it again on a DVD+RW this time and it works perfect.

Great job FF!
In my opinion, i think that Xavier came out with a cool idea by using xselect 0.6 and being able to install all dash boards. But they didnt include the latest and most expansive set of bins like gdisk, nor as many skins yada yada yada. But i do like the idea of 4 dashes at the same time. I know it takes a couple of mins for peeps to d, but what do you think about the feature? Oh..what about launch other dashes as an option in evox?  Can't wait until 0.93 sounds impressive. Thanks ff! biggrin.gif

This will all be included in 0.93. I have a working switcher based on MxM already on my HD smile.gif
The TeamXavier Installer is nice, but I don't like the idea of reflashing the bios every time u wanna change the default Dashboard, there is a much easier solution, but u have to go away from evox for that....
The other prob is to build an installer that doesnt install all the crap if ju just want evox and nothing else. TX solved it with coding a lot of different settingfiles, but: there is also a much easier solution...

yeahyeah, the old prob with the picky dvd-drives. sometimes i had to install 2 or 3 times to copy all the apps to the dahrddrive. if all fails fire up boxplorer or xcommander from live-menu and try to copy the stuff manually.....

i'm totally doing something wrong, cuz i can't write to any of the partitions from my PC (was just going to manuallly copy everything over)

edit: thanks to lefty on irc for pointing out that if i just copied everything from the CD manually to E, and edited the ini (replacing all f: with E:) it would work, and it did!
