I have a 1.6 with a Sammy drive and the load tray works fine but the eject tray does not. You can hear it start to eject the tray but its like it reboots to quickly and pulls the tray back in. Anyone else have this problem??

Ive tried both the loadtray and ejecttray neither work they just freeze the system. I want to smake who ever created this worthless xbe's

There must be a simple reason heres my code.
Item "Eject Disc Tray","f:\apps\Utils\ejecttray.xbe"
Item "Close Disc Tray","f:\apps\Utils\loadtray.xbe"
And they're exactly in that folder. the xbox starts the loading screen then locks up.

What version xbox does everyone have that this is or is not working on? Mine is a 1.6. The open and close disc tray that is built into UnleashX also does not work for me so it has to be an issue with the version of xbox or the bios maybe.

Ya I'm thinking that the ejecttray.xbe and loadtray.xbe were developed from a erlier xbox model and a newer one must be developed. But I sure don't know how to go about this.

ok.......for some reasons unleashx's eject and close. Would it be possible to hex edit it, extract the nessasaries and create a xbe?

was wondering if any of you can help me. i tried searching for a post on this but had no luck

i got the ejecttray.xbe and loadtray.xbe from the "usual" places and was wondering if they could be used in the evox dash root menu. you have shutdown and reboot in there already but is it possible to put in eject and load? and if so, how do i modify the evox.ini to prompt me before executing them. i also got the ccp files for each of them and was unclear what to do with them. thanks for any help

add this line to the menu section.
Item "Eject DVD","c:\eject.xbe"
Item "Load DVD","c:\load.xbe"
