i currently have a xbox with X-ecuter 2 mod chip, X-ecuter II v1 4973 bios, and when i go to run a game from the HD it goes from the "run game from hd" option back to main dashboard and never runs the game, it also gives me the loading screen right before it goes back to the main dashboard. a freind told me i had to "patch" the games but i may have misheard him, and he didnt tell me how. please help. (also, older type games run fine, new ones, like The Sims: For Xbox, dont run)

nm, found the tutorial, but do you know a place other than using mRIC to get the bios? Thanks for your help

Disconnect your network cable if you have one. EvoX is known to cause freezing when launching on some boxes because of that.

chrysjan, try running the game from the game managment program. freind of mine did that and it worked, so he just had to boot from the program rather than directly from his hard drive

well, the program you used to load the games onto the hard drive should have a "play game" function. unless you are using a different program or a diff. version of the same one, other than that i dont know.

P.S.
You may want to try reloading the game onto your HD

or if you have BoXplorer, you could go in there and run the game from the appropriate drive (should be in C drive), then select and run the appropriate file, im gonna try it when i get home tonight (im at school)

its already off, i turned off anything that said, igr, in game reset, and i went through almost all the code i could from the evox.ini files, but it doesnt work. and its not that the game freezes, its just that when i select a game from the hd to play, it goes to the loading screen then back to the main dashboard, like nothing happened at all

How do you change it in the bios?
