Whats your eeprom settings ?
Whats your game region settings in the panel ?
What games did you try ? apps ? emus ?

I'm using a PAL console + PAL eeprom + Game region set to auto :
UAEX, XMBP, SNESX, HUGO, FCE, MAMEX, UltraXLE, PJ64, Msx, SMSplus,
Lynx emu, KolekoX, Gens, GBA-x, FinalBurn, +50 officials games ALL RUN FINES

GOT IT!

it is a IGR related problem.

im using the x2 4977 bios, and disabled its IGR using the "file on e" function inside the bios.
then i enabled evo 3921's IGR.
that is what has triggered the bug.

now ive disabled evox's IGR and enabled the X2 IGR, and everything suddently works fine.

it would be nice to fix this problem in a future build.

please edit the title of this thread to something less agressive, since it has been a conflict of several circumstances... to trigger this bug, you must be very unlucky...

Region switch doesn't work if IGR is not enabled, small bug fix is needed.

When I set the Videomode to Auto, EvoX doesn't change the videomode automaticly. Why?

thats not it!

i have several major problems with every regionmode...

im a bit furious today, because no one of the developers, or admins has recogiced this problem as existent...

im reporting this since yesterday and noone respondes properly.

there is no little bug in the region switch wo igr, there are SEVERAL MAJOR bugs in there.

today i've tested out the following

with pal eeprom settings:

region: auto:
panzer dragoon orta (no video output)
bruteforce (returns to evox)
doa3 (no videooutput)
...
(ive upped the games with hddloader 1.0 so they arent patched right now. as i disabled x2's igr, that might be the problem behind bruteforce, but whats with doa3 and pdo? as far as i know they don't have any copy protection)

region: rest of the world PAL:
above named games run, but morrowind f.e. runs in english (not german) and most applications crash. (scummvm, kawax)

pleasy copy me, anyone responsible for this release of evox 3921...

If this is such an issue, why don't you downgrade again to an erlier version? The new EvoX doesn't exactly add vital features, but merely small features & patches.

im running well on 3921, when i disable the inbuild igr.. (as this disables the videomode/region feature in evox)

but the only goal i reached by now is to get an answer, that the devs will work on it and remove the possibility to do that in following versions, thanks..

I got the same shitty problem.. Where can I disable X2 IGR ? I try to disable it in Evo-X, tryed several versions.. all the same
