When i first saw the news about a new evox i downloaded it an put it on my xbox, i just now realixed that it was a beta but i have had no problems

Maybe you missed my earlier post...
They are all called BETA

458 was beta, all the rest, I forget the #'s were BETA,  3752 was BETA, and 3921 is BETA, they are all called that.

I installed 3921 to by box.  Rebooted and it flashes the xecuter2 logo and reboots.  If I put 3752 back on all returns to normal.

Anybody got any suggestions?

Hey Heinrich,
with all the reads on this one would you either pin this or maybe pin a new topic with the info you provided!

There we go!

New one.

3921 will boot from CD but not from hard-drive.

wolverine and h3, a new EvoxD6+ Bios comes with the new Evox dash rar. It is a 256K BIOS, so if you have a 1MB chip, use xbTool to convert it to a 1MB BIOS. Just flash your chip with that BIOS and you won't have to worry about patching any BIOS ,as that one is already patched.

Have you personally verified this?  I dont see anything that says that d.6+ has LBA48 support.  And if it does, is it for a large F drive or a 7th partition?  Does it ignore the partition table on disk?

Also, if you give evox a 256k bios to flash on a 1mb chip, it will write it 4x, no need to resize.

But the new .ini file and 3921 work just fine from a CDRW.  Shoudn't they work fine from the HD?

Could it be something in the fact that the HD was formated under the older version of the dashboard?

Are you guys saying that in order to use this new version of EvoX, we need to flash the BIOS?

What about me (and other users) who have non-flashable MOD chips in their system?

I have an origianl eXecuter v1.0 on my v1.0 XBox system.

What am I supposed to do then?

Thanks in advnace.

No, you dont need to flash your bios.
Evox will run as it always has.
