Anyone try this w/ debug BIOS yet?  That's the one bug I've been dying for them to fix... they broke debug BIOS support with FTP awhile ago... and it hasn't work in the past few releases still.

I'm a little confused on how to get the Trainers to work. I've got the trainers option in the new Evox to show up, I selected Yes for Futurama trainers to YES and saved. Then I selected my HDD Futurama and play a level and see I still loose a life and it decreases in life numbers. Am I missing something in setting up the trainers? Anyone try them yet with a game? Thanks

same here.

I reflashed the mod to do away with the bios IGR, turn it on for the dash, and the Futurama trainer does nothing

btw, system lock up when using evox IGR with allstar baseball 2004

but it worked with Aggressive inline where the Bios IGR did not

sad.gif. On apps that used to freeze on startup, it seems to load fine, but evox now hangs upon return to dash (which it used to do with non network apps, but it may still freeze on startup since I didn't get a real "cold" boot so to speak to test out). Maybe someone on this thread who talks to the evox members can pass this along (heinrich?).

They should be directed to this thread here (but theres tons of old posts with a bunch of info which basically had evox as the factor of freezing):

What is this "mediapatch" thing all about?

That is something in the bios that allows games that are flagged to only run from DVD, to run from hard drive.

Got smart enabled but just getting a N/A is the settings menu

Just a guess, haven't tried this, but I am pretty sure your HDD would have to have "SMART" capabilities. Most WD's have it, but other brands may/may not.

Exactly.

I never understood why people would spend countless hours on skins for the other dashes, and then make fun of EvoX for not "looking as cool". EvoX looks as good as the time you put into it. It is as simple as that. Not everyone wants animation in the dashboard!

Also, what other dashes besides EvoX support flashing the bios, especially now with multiple TSOP support  biggrin.gif And IGR? (Given it is not perfect, it is closer now!) Temps? User Actions? The list goes on and on...

RESPECT EVOX.  beerchug.gif
