Try one of the following

1. upgrading to latest EvoX

2. Change FTP Clients

3. Refreshing and Rebooting until it starts working

Xecutor 4978.03 ?
I have heard of a few with this issue with Evox, flash the bios back to 4977 and try.

I'm having the same problem.  Something seems fishy here.

Where do you think the problem is.....

Bio's?
I have 4978
others are using 4977, 4978.03

FTP Client?
I've tried network mapping, Flashftp and CuteFTP, as have others with the same results.

Dashboard?
We all seem to have the latest build (3921)
Booting the dash from the D: drive seems to work, but I can't confirm this personally.

Sounds like a bug in the in dashboard build to me.

We need some advice from a Veteran!

PLEASE HELP!

After setting up 3921 my C and D drives read exactly the same in FlashFXP, eventhough I have a game disc in the Xbox.  If I delete the D drive it also wipes the C.  Go back to Avalanch just to check and it's definitly something with 3921.  Anyone have an idea? Or should I go back to an older version?

This is running 3921 right from C on boot, not lauching it some other way.
Xtender Lite 2+
Xecuter Bios 4978.03

Okay what am I doing wrong.  Setup 3752 and it is doing the same as above ....damn!

Thanks,
DG

I just moded my XBox and yesterday I  tried to make a backup of a game to my PC.

I have the Evox 3921 installed and use FlashFXP to FTP.
So far everything went fine. I had the tree with all the drives on the XBox HDD.

When I opened the D-drive I was really surprised to see that it was exactly the same as the C drive.

Tried another FTP program, but the same happened.

Didn't bother to switch Evox version but it isn't the solution either I understand.

Strange.

Does somebody has an idea ?

Had this problem.... trying to remember what I did. I think if you shut down FlashFXP, power off xbox, turn on and let evox boot to menu screen, then open flashfxp and connect it fixes it... has something to do with FlashFXP freaking out because CD cant be detected and C is cached instead. Hope that works

I'll have to be brief here as I'm about to run out the door for the night, but I'm having trouble as stated in the topic. FTPing into my XBox using 1.8.3752, and the contents of the D folder are the same as the C folder.  Not sure if this is more appropriate here or in the hardware forum, but since it reads discs fine, I'm assuming this is an error in EvoX or me.

It's a 1.4 booting direct to EvoX, problem is the same before and after running the PBL. Using FlashFXP to connect. Really have no idea where the problem could be here. I've tried connecting at different times (with Evo running and no disc, put in disc, refresh. EvoX runs, insert disc, then connect. et al) but to no avail. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds odd maybe it could be your dash have you tried putting build 3921 in a folder and put it with your apps. Then it should show up in your apps menu and be selectable then see if it still happens. this is how i test all new apps and software.
