Evox Not Allowing Ftp Into D: Drive?

I'm using morden's audio hack, and the solution for me is:
eject the drive
"refresh drive" option from evox>audio hack>refresh cd drive
close drive.
voila.
This may be  native only to morden's tho. But it's great.

I'm still using the 4973 and I've been having this problem for a while, I think it's been since I installed X-Select but I've been too lasy to remove and retry it.

I confirmed what I suspected, it's X-Select 0.6 causing the probs for me.

I replaced evox xbe as boot and I could now see the DVDROM contents, when I put it back to X-Select after testing I could only see the contents of C under my D drive.

What is your IP for your FTP in the 4978.03 Bios? Is it the same as the IP EvoX is assigned? could maybe the two FTP's having the same IP cause this? If so that could mean that the BIOS ftp take precedence over the EvoX ftp. If this is the case, changing the IP to something different in BIOS ftp could allow you to use the two different ftps by going to the correct IP for each one. If there truly is a bug in the X2 ftp, then just ftp over to the EvoX ftp and it should work fine.

Having similar problems here with my 160GB upgrade drive:

- Upgraded to the new Evox and now I can't make directories on my F drive when I FTP in to it, but I can FTP a file up to the root of it.

- Revert to the previous version of Evox and I can make directories on F drive when I FTP to it as I have been doing in the past.

Checked and double checked my ini and there is nothing in there that should be causing a problem.

I can confirm that the problem lies somewhere within the x2 4978.03 bios... most likely a bug. I reflashed with the 4977 bios and i can once again access my dvd-rom through the d partition.

Odd.  I've flashed back X2 4977 but that didn't help.  I've even flashed back to older evox bios' and used older evox dashboards, it didn't help.

Scratch that.  I just tried again (first time powering it up since yesterday), and now the C and D are different.  I think what happened is that every time I changed BIOS, I just did a software reboot instead of fully powering it down then back up.  Guess this makes a difference.

Try FTPing to using windows explorer by typing in ur xbox ip address.

I use this sometimes, it just seems much more easier to use.

I have got this problem too, only different.
I use 4977 and ftp with evox 3752.
When I access D drive with flash fxp or cuteftp, I dont see the C drive, but get the contents of my evox boot cd.

I can see the  default.xbe and dummy file, so is definately not the C drive and the cd is sitting on top of my TV, so have no idea where it is getting this info from!

I have tried switching back to evox D6ef bios, but that didnt help. Have also tried cold booting everything, but is still there.

Boxplorer and xcommander see the drive fine, so I think it must be a bug in evox dash or a setting in flashfxp.
Anyone had this or fixed this?

It is a known bug with the 4978.03 BIOS. Switch to an older BIOS and you'll be fine.

I sometimes get this same bs when using xcommander.
But I try it a few times then it works well I think that
bios has nothing to do with this, as your configuration
I never had problems with the 3752 with ftp try the new 3921
Maybe you did some weird configs in the ini but who knows.
check eveything over and use a diff. dash
