Yeah there are a couple features I would like added, mainly a reset/turn off Xbox option in the menus like Nexgen.

The latest beta does have the Reboot and Power Off options.

Haven't the last few official releases had them as well?  I've been using reboot and poweroff in evox for a while now....

Shit.  I dont see why more people arent switchin to MXM!  It's totally customizable and has media support.  Con Evox Say that?  I think not.  Not only does MXM have reboot and poeroff options it has eject and close the dvd treay options as well.  If you switch I beleive you'll be happy wit it.  In my opinion the only thing EvoX is good for is flashing bios.  Thats the only reason it is still on my xbox as a secondary dash.

no its not.  If you read tuts and stuff its actually not that tough; all you really have to "configure" is the ip address for your xbox and the path for skins, everything else MXM auto-adds for you.  If you do switch it will be totally worth it.

I'll be switching to MXM once it supports  a few more things which it will by 1.0 (maybe even .9m-o).  Unless evox just comes out of the blue with a full featured stable new dash they are going by the wayside.

yea i have tried it but i cannot get the Movies to load up.. like you know the lil preview movies for each game... and i have like 6 backups on my hard drive and it freezes when i try to scroll down to the 3rd one.. I am gonna try the LATEST version of MXM and see if i still experience these issues!

Holy Shit!! It can open the DVD Tray? Can it put the disc I am thinking of at the time in it for me too? WTF...once you eject the tray, don't you have to go over there anyway to take something out or put something in? You're pretty close to the eject button when you do that anyway. Why do you care so much about people switching to MXM, I'm glad your happy with it, but your lurking in the EvoX forums and being a dick. If I could pick up the xbox controller and MXM could make my box boot up at the touch of a button, then I'd be pretty impressed, but I don't care about listening to music while I what...look at my dash all day? No thanks.

all evo-x needs is picture/video preview for games (which will be in next release) and it'll be damn near perfect!

Don't count on it.  As far as I'm conerened, RemoteX is a dead project.  It hasn't been updated for some time now, so don't expect anything else to come up.

MxM is a good dashboard in my opinion, and as far as I know, the only one to currently support video previews.  If you feel MxM is overkill, then try avalaunch.  There is not going to be a new Evox or NeXgen, so don't expect it.

blah mxm is bloated and overkill

some of us actually play games n stuff rather then staring at/messing with our dashboards all day..

evo-x is sleek and fast..shit, MXM takes like 5 seconds just to load

yeah if evox gets video and picture preview, it'll be mxm...

MXM is fine, if you don't want bloat, you can not have bloat  there are lots of skins that dont take much resources. I'm sure those 5 seconds of your life are hella important.

Lets say you dont want to edit xml, you don't have to. MXM will find your xbe's and put them into a nice list for you. With evox you gotta deal with the ini's regardless.
