Slayer's Evox Auto-installer
« on: July 14, 2003, 10:11:00 PM »

Should I just download EvoX and use it to swap my HDD with a larger one before downloading SlaYer's EvoX Auto-Installer v2.1 FINAL.exe?(This file seems like it has many files that I would like, but is it still worth the download?)  Any info on the would be appreciated-Also, would it just be easier to download Slayers Auto-Installer and never download EvoX alone?

Another good one is the installer from the same place evox comes from.  It formats + partitions, and sets up your xbox with boxplorer, configmagic, evox and dvdx in about 10 secs. I have used it on 10 different xboxes and am very pleased with it.

you want to do a bit more reading and get more out of it download the files yourself and install it all yourself.

What do u mean "get more out of the downloaded files"? and also i get what u mean that you would also be getting some software you might not want with slayers

Well back in the good ol' day i used Slayers 1.5!
And i learnt from there...now i have my own installer that installs:
every app, dash, homebrew game..including every version of doom that is compatible...The main dash is x-selector so you can never fuck up your xbox... oh this installer also includes videos for every app/homebrew game on there for use with MXM...and all the necessary files are modified correctly i.e evox.ini and menu.xml

Hey chilen_dude, any chance I could get that from you? It sounds like an excellent installer. You should have it hosted somewhere (the usual places)

Slayers worked fine for me and after you get it installed you can add more apps if you want them. Or even delete some if you dont want them. Hope this helps,

Well i'll be upping it to alt.binaries.xbox tonight hopefully (afraid i don't have access to a.b.c.i.x) Just needs a bit of fine tweaking today.
