Couple Of Issues

1- I can't seem to be able to access the original dash anymore with the chip on or off. I have the EvoX dash named as xboxdash.xbe and have the original named msxboxdash.xbe. The only way I can get into the original dash is through EvoX.

Your EvoX dash should be named evoxdash.xbe and your original dash named xboxdash.xbe.

2- I seem to have lost all of my game saves. I backed up the original HD to my computer and copied it all back after I installed the new one. (well I thought I did ) Does anyone know where the saves are located so I can go and re-extract it from the original HD?

Drive E: - You probably forgot to copy that one wink.gif

3- I can't seem to get skins to load. Can't really say much here

Well - what exactly happens ?

Why post the same thing twice...  dry.gif

Cause I really wasn't sure if it should be under EvoX or Newb.

Oh, I'm also trying to reflash the chip with X2BM, but half the time it won't open the port or find the chip. When it does work, it can't verify it. What should I look into for fixing this?

Thanks again!

No reason for a double post, pick a forum and stick with it once you've posted.

Aye, I did smile.gif
Was just picking more brains though.

Another problem that I've come up with now is that when I'm done flashing the chip and the program does its verification, I get an error reading Verification FAILED at 000007: Read [44] Expecting [FF]

And does anyone know what each dip switch does? I've found out that the far right one (the one next to the light) is the one that protects the chip if its down. What about the rest?

Ub3rn3wb - You really do need to do some more reading, I mean you bought a chip and don't know what the switches do and rather then look that information up you ask here? Come on man, dig a little, you'll get your answers much faster, as well, you should check out the forums over at teamxecuter.com, they will hold all the answers on your chip, after all the made the darn thing.

Believe me, I do a lot more reading then posting! It was just a goofy question that I thought of while making my last post.

smile.gif. I know I had copied everything to the computer, but somewhere transferring it back my dumbass didn't double check to see if everything went through. tongue.gif

Still need help though with trying to get my skins to work and having the issue with the flashing.

Will continue searching.....

Edit: Just tried flashing it again only with my PC instead of the laptop and I got a different error - Verification FAILED at 002AA8: Read [16] Expecting [B5]. Only difference between the two is that the laptop is XP Pro and PC is 2K.
