Maybe you should try to set Static = YES, because I have almost the exact same setup as you except for that difference...

Oh, and change Xbox IP to 192.168.0.3.

Use these:

Xbox
192.168.0.2
255.255.255.0
192.168.0.1

PC
192.168.0.1
255.255.255.0
192.168.0.1

And make sure in your Network Connections folder your NIC is listed there. It should be a Local Area Connection with a number. Make sure to test it by taking the crossover cable in and out to see if it changes from unplugged to enabled!!

Make sure your Xbox and PC do NOT have the same IP address (i.e.. set Xbox to 192.168.0.3 and PC to 192.168.0.2, and make BOTH default gateways 192.168.0.1).

Static should be set to YES.

If you are running EvoX off a CD...how do you expect it to save the changes???? If you wish to use a manually-entered static IP (ie, you're using a crossover cable and/or lack a router/DHCP server) you have to install EvoX to your hard drive, or manually edit it BEFORE you burn the CD.

I Have been Having very similar problems for a while now. It's off and on. I'm running windows XP.

PC IP SETTINGS:
192.168.0.24
255.255.255.0
192.168.0.24

XBOX IP SETTINGS
192.168.0.22
255.255.255.0
192.168.0.24

I'm using FLASH FXP also. No luck. The icon in the System Tray says that it has made a connection, but I cant ftp too it. I tried using Mplayer with relax, but that wont connect either.

The weird thing is when i connect to the internet through dialup, FLASH FXP can suddenly make a connection with the xbox (only 500k/sec). Yet as soon as i disconnect from the net, the xbox can no longer be found, by the ftp program.

I'm guessing this has something to do with windows xp, but i have no idea how to fix it. The only thing that has worked in the past is if i disconnect my xbox for a few days and remove the network cable from the pc network card. The after the few days, once everything is reconnected it suddenly works again, but usually for a few days only.

WEIRD !!!!!!!!     SOMEONE HELP !!!!!!
