Does anyone think that I could use a used Maxtor 7200 rpm 120 gig HD in my xbox.

I think you can use any drive that doesn't exceed the space limit of the xbox (i think it's like 137gigs or something) and as long as it's formatted correctly. There are tutorials on the main page for setting up a non OEM hd.

oem means original equipment manufacturer, So i was just referring to any hard drive that's not the original that MS uses in the xbox.

There are tutorials on the main page that point to the program you need to run with the new hd in your pc, and how to copy your xbox hd contents to the new drive. Just go look...
