why the hell is the IGR feature in evox
I hear it just causes many stupid problems
Is there any good reason for IGR?

Because they needed a way to prop up the Matrix and insure Team Xecuter didn't lock them out with a large BIOS release. They created a hack in Evo-X that kinda-sorta works most of the time.

Oddly enough, the innovation seems to have dried up from Team Evolution-X, though they should be as well equipped as Team Xecuter to hack and enhance BIOSes. Looks like their only new feature will be the Chameleon-specific stuff.

I hope they surprise us, but with Team Avalaunch delivering some great utilities with their project, and my own MXM packing a multimedia-savvy punch, Evo-X is looking a bit tired.  ohmy.gif

Yeah i agree, im getting abit bored with Evo-X, i havent yet decided whether to switch to MXM or Avalaunch yet though, both are looking very promising, yet i have to say MXM is my main choice right now as it seems your working on it regularly, yet Avalaunch, well the work seems random done to it, i could be wrong though. Im gonna wait untill they become more stable, then the first stable one that can create a "Backup" file set like Evo-X and that allows you to Flash your BIOS from dash, im switching to. Heh, maybe one of them has that already, but ive not checked for a while.

And i know that was a little off topic, sorry  tongue.gif

yea if you get everything you said above done (except for IGR cause i have it disabled anyway and use it from 4976 bios) then i'd probably switch.  Keep up the good work.

Am I the only one that likes and uses IGR? Sorry, I'm too lazy to get up, walk around the coffee table, bend over a bunch of stuff, just  to change a game.... Besides, it's working fine for me.

oh well, we can always hope.  evox restart is a pain but for some reason sometimes it works fine... cant wait to see your work
