i just gave my noobie firend the new slayer 2.1 file so he can just load everything he needs at once. What does he have to do to get it to work, just burn which file to a CDRW and it would work?

Any answer quickly whould be help full

P.S. i never used slayer, but my friend is dumb and doesn't know how to set up him self and i don't feel like driving 1 hour to go do it. SO tell me what he needs to do for slayer please. thanks

hey, heres what to do:

1. Run the .exe on your pc. This will unzip several files, one of which is a .iso

2. Burn the .iso to a cdrw

3. print off the readme.

4. Boot up cdrw and install!

Jet Pilot, Where did you get the Slayer's 2.1? I am trying to stay away from the IRC clients as I am using a work computer (DS3 broadband connection) to find all my needed files and info. I have 2.0 but would like to stick with the newest versions I can find. I want to do my Xbox right the first time and not have to come back and reload newer versions just yet.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

i got it off IRC, yea IRC sucks but sometimes you just need to bite the bullet and do it for the greater good. In with regards to you work not liking it, you'll probably need to find a broadband connection. Try your local library or "Ciber cafe" good luck
