If you use the help files in FXP you should be able to understand how to link up.

I am using a Linksus router. Do i need to open up any ports, change any settings in the evox.ini file or what? I tried those tutorials and they havent worked yet. When i goto Flash FXP and enter in the supposed IP it doesnt connect. Someone please help me set this thing up.

I just cant connect. What do i need to do I have trieed everything. I have a linksus router. In my NIC card properties it automatically assigns the ip as 192.168.1.101 if i change it the internet doesnt work. Do i change the .ini file that came with evox? I have no idea why its not working every time i try to connect it times out. In evox it says:

Type: DHCP
IP: 192.168.1.102
Line Status: 100/Full Duplex
Setup  Network: Yes
Use Static IP: No
IP: 192.168.0.2
Default Gateway: 192.168.0.1

Please Help me resolve this problem. If it helps i have the newest version of evox running on my xbox.

And also... it may be stupid but under EvoX system settings, do you have the FTP settings turned on?  unsure.gif

No, i dont have any firewall running. When i try to connect it trys to then it says request timed out. Evox says:

Type: DHCP
IP: 192.168.1.102
Line Status: 100/Full Duplex
Setup Network: Yes
Use Static IP: No
IP: 192.168.0.2
Subnet: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.0.1

Could Norton Antivirus be blocking entrance to my computer. Should i disable it to check?

Try using a crossover cable linked directly between your PC and XBOX, you should be able to find one for around $15 or less.  It's likely that your router is the culprit, just try going around it.
