Does the latest version fix the long file name problem for games like brute force ?

LOL, that has nothing to do with the installer.  It installs apps, it does not FIX games  tongue.gif

Hi Slayer,

Really great job !! Will You also release a new version for the HD more than 137Gigabyte ? Because at the moment, with this version, You can´t include the "G"-drive....that would be very nice...

André

The new version sure does and as always it has the latest and greatest versions of all the main apps and tools.

NEW! Slayer's EvoX Auto-Installer V2.1 !
« Reply #244 on: October 25, 2003, 11:42:00 PM »

I used slayer 2.1 on my retail drive (worked great), I have got an 80 GB here and I used 2.5 option to format a upgraded large hardrive with a mod chip that can be turned off (Xbit). However opon completion. and removal of the install disk, it boots to evoX, but it has no options nothing, as in all i have are the BASIC evoX options. (where the first option is boot to MS dashboard - which does nt boot to it at all, hust returns it to evoX after 45 seconds) I tried to reformat again using the same install disk, hoping it was a install problem, however it happened again. So any ideas at this point would be appreciated.

The third time i made a new disk, with a differnernt.
this time the format on, but when i took the disk out booted to the ms dashboard

any ideas?

Your problem is Media related, meaning the disks you are using are not being read properly in the DVD drive. the sysptons you say are happening sound just like the results you get when using USED media. also the thomson DVD drive is picky when it comes to what it will read so try a Differant brand of media and follow the directions for burning the ISO to disk in either 2.1 or 2.5 doc's
