As I have a fat 120 GB in my box, I found it useful to have 27 directories (a pain to create) under f:games, that is f:games,f:gamesA,..., f:gamesZ. and I have 27 submenus.
CODE
Section "Games"
 {
   Section "A"
    {
    AutoAddItem "f:gamesa"
    }
   Section "B"
    {
    AutoAddItem "f:gamesb"
    ..
    ..
    }
    Section "Y"
    {
    AutoAddItem "f:gamesy"
    }
   Section "Z"
    {
    AutoAddItem "f:gamesz"
    }  {
 }

This setup, although long to create makes it easy to find the game you wanna play.

thats the stupidest thing ive ever seen. how is that any easier than auto-adding your games folder, then autosorting it?

I have two game menus.  One fancy, and one as default evox game menu.  The evox game menu is hidden within dash utils.  The fancy one that launches most often looks like this:
Video Link

that MXM one is so damn nice. did it take you long to make all the videos etc?

I love you too  tongue.gif
I don't pretend my setup is what you want to do, it is just faster to scroll to the letter you want to get to the game you want to play. If you have 2 games on your HD, it is of no use, if you have a 120 GB full, then I think this setup is useful.

Here's mine:

[Menu]

Section "Root"
{
   Section "Applications"
   {
      AutoAddItem "e:applications"
      Section "Emulators"
      {
      AutoAddItem "e:applicationsemulators"
      SortAll
      }
      SortAll
   }
   Section "Games"
   {
      AutoAddItem "e:games"
      SortAll
   }
   Section "Utilities"
   {
      Item "EvolutionX Skins",@13
      Item "XBox Settings",@9
      Item "MS Dashboard","c:msdash.xbe"
      Item "Reboot XBox",@5
      Item "Power Off XBox",@10
   }

Works great for me...
