Can't Go To Xbmp

hi guys i have evodash v 1.8.3285 and when i try to launch xbox media player 2.3 from launch menu.......it reebots xbox.....how can i fix this?

check your evox.ini file.

if you have . . .

e:\apps\xbmp\default.xbe (and rest of xbmp files)

just let autoadd do the work . . .

Section "Apps"
      {
         AutoAddItem "e:\apps\"
         AutoAddItem "f:\apps\"
         SortAll

yes i have it in the menu but when i launch it ,the box seems to launch it but then reboots (and obviously reloads evox),is this a compatibility problem?maybe because they are both dashboards?

try starting xbmp through boxplorer.

yea x-ace same problem(i launched boxplorer from evox and then xbmp) what do i do? :(

If using a CVS build of XBMP, try going back to the standard version 2.3.

If that's not it try disabling the IGR hack (3 places).

If this not it, try using an earlier version of EvolutionX. A lot of people seem to be reporting issues with 3285.

I guess re-install is always a good first try for fixing things.
Should have suggested that first.
