QUOTE (nufan @ Apr 7 2003, 06:52 AM)
can anyone tell me how i can get the TEMPS on the skin? i am running latest evoX, i recently used EvoX Skinner which allowed me to add such things as bios version, evoX version, space left on drives, DVD status, but there was no temperature reading to drop on. Am i using the wrong skin editor or what am i doing wrong? also that program didnt really allow me to change the font of the text for such things as bios version space left on drives etc....

Probably no skin editor has these new functions implemented yet. Just open the skin.ini in notepad and use <Temp1> and <Temp2> to display the motherboard and CPU temperatures, respectively.

I've also created some skins myself.. if anyone's interested, please take a look here:

ahh but if u just put it in the skin.ini where do you put the <temp> tags ? how does it know the location to put them on the skin?

Use other tags that your editor support, just to position them in the skin. Then open the skin.ini file and change the tags to the temp tags, got it? wink.gif
