I have also tried three other homebrewn BIOS, they all fail @ about the same %

Tried to flash from 4974 > 4975
Deleted fine but only got the first square up on screen when it was flashing
Had to flash 4975 using my programmer

Hah, same shit happened to me last night. Flipped my switches, moved over 4975 to my xbox, tried flashing with new evox, and it puked RIGHT at 50%.

had to remove it and reflash 4974, I thought i got a bad 4975 release or something...

Anyhow, whats a good Xbox app that flashes bios since evox seems to be buggy...

Hey guys. As per the warnings of this thread, I decided to revert to Evox v1.8.3285 before flashing to the new x2 v4976 and guess what? Same problem on the old evox. The only difference is the percentage. Some say they got one square, others say 50%. I got to around 25% and it puked so I had to remove the chip and program it. So, this may not be the fault of the new evox but all versions of evox. Anybody willing to test the flash utils and find a better sollution than programming the chip with the programmer? A lot of people would appreciate it Here's my vitals. xbox v1.1, matrix chip. Good luck.

heh same happened me too, although i was quite amazed at how fast i was at hooking it up to my pc and reflashing the matrix

thought it would have took me alot longer

so you see 5 flashes and nothing went wrong.maybe it's something special on the boxes that the ones with success don't have.exp. igr in evox enabled
