just wondering, did you guys lock your hd?

My specs:
NTSC 1.0
X2_4096.02 bios
EvoX 1.8.3752 (with evox IGR off)
120 gb hd (unlocked)

All PAL games have worked fine so far- Racing Evolutionz, Rayman, wolverine, bloodwake. etc.

I think you only have to lock your HD if you run older bios that doesnt support using larger hd's.

yeah, i have my hardrive locked. i've pretty much tried everything. Also, i just recently confirmed that it is a PAL issue. I tried to backup the PAL version of X2: Wolverine's Revenge and it would do the usual thing.. not work. I got frustrated and wanted to play the game so i just bought the NTSC version as well and it backed up and loaded perfectly the first time around.... truly fishy.

I installed Config Magic Final. I checked and my HDD was unlocked. So I locked it and tried still no success. I then unlocked it once again. No dice!

My video region setting is NTSC Region 1.

Is there a way to play PAL games on a modded NTSC xbox without evox dash installed on the HD?
