you'll have to boot the evox dash from a cdrw/dvd then you can xfer the default.xbe for the evox dash back over to the hd on your xbox.   beerchug.gif

he says it wont let him boot anything.. which doesnt make much sense to me, as far as i know dvds boot BEFORE the dash... sounds like your problems more then just a corrupted dash

i turn on xbox then this comes up user posted image but instead of there being eror 07 its 16 grr
i think its the dashboard cause error 16 means
dashboard - Other files to do with dashboard / dashboard settings (specific dashboard error)
so can i hook it upto my comp sumhow w/o evox and put new crap on and yes i did backup c:
btw if i do get a new hd all i need to do it copy the original xbox files onto it then put it in the xbox or wat????

Yeppers, think thats totally correct, even without any dash on the X-Box it will boot games.
