Make sure your files are the same size. I have that problem alot. Sometimes when it transfers through FTP it dont copy all the info.
When mine was rebooting when executing my .xbe file size was 0

After you ftp the game over to the console, in flashfxp (if you are using it, you should) go to games directorty press "contol + R" and type "execute default.xbe".

See if that launches.

this is all i do

in F: i have a folder called Games
then in Games theres folders for each game
so say ur coping Halo u will have a Halo folder containing all the files u copied across
after that evoX should auto add the games into ur Games section on ur dash. i just manually enter them in to simply get the order i want, but u dont need to do that

apart from that i dont see a reason why it wouldnt work for u if u do this or something similar.

i do the exact same thing but i use the e: drive cuz i have a stock hd. evox does autoadd it but when i go to play it i get the losding screen and then it goes back to evox. could it be because im trying off of the e drive? ive had games work on e before but i ripped them straight from dvd to hd.
btw what bios are using? could my xtender bios be the prob (i know thats probably not it but im all out of ideas and going crazy!!!!!!!!!!)

Have you tried copying an original game onto the HDD. See if that works. You need to narrow down where the problem is. If you copy a game with boxplorer, instead of ftp, and it still won't run, then it's nothing to do with FTP. Maybe a HDD issue.

Have you tried reflashing your chip? I know it allows you to boot evox, but could this somehow be causing a problem?

Is there an issue with extracting with Xiso? Been using that and now problems so far, but I'm pretty new at this....so anything I should know about?

Sorry I can't help the topic starter, try norrowing it down is my best suggestion. A long shot would be to try another ftp program. If all else fails, bring in a friends box and see if his works from your computer, take you xbox to his house and see if it works etc...

What FTP client are you using?

Have you made sure you are in BINARY mode when transfering the files?
