You can not get speed of 6MB to 7MB/s transfering From Xbox DVD to PC.

yeah sure as hell, it does get 6000 - 7000 kb/sec from xbox DVD ==> pc's HDD , I just did it , so it does get that kind a speeds from xbox to pc

Technically the DVD drive should do this speed pecusio

DVD 1x = 2.1MB/s

so nobody knows , why i can get 6 - 7mb/sec from xbox dvd ---> pc's hdd and if I transfer back from pc's hdd ==> xbox HDD , i only get 450 kb/sec ????

Hmmmm there shouldn't be a problem.

Have you tried using a xover cable?

There is a issue with transfer speeds to the f: drive only on the original drives

Just a thought but if you have tried eveything else try swithing the properties of you pc NIC to half duplex and see if that makes a difference. you might also try a different FTP client

The only other thing to try would be the cross over cable. What speeds to you get to the E: drive just out of curiousity?

This was the problem others were having the other day, I don't think there was a fix for it in the end.

Try to reformat the f  drive using RAW commands from your FTP client.

What kinda drive do you have?

That's why then. If you look at my earlier post you will see that I mentioned that there is a problem with original SEAGATE drives.

Looks like you'll have to get another drive I am afraid!

and reformatting the F , has somebody tried that ??? reformat using the dashboard , or another way, i dunno, just guessing here.....
