It looks like another collection of tools, but I seriousely doubt that it's as polished and easy to use for a noob as my installer.  Also note that some of the tools are old and some apps are made redundant by recently released and improved software, all of which is in my installer.

If people post questions about my installer after 2 detailed step by step documents totaling over 18 pages of instructions, you can imagine the chaos that mess will create.   ohmy.gif

Please remember that the reason I created this is to make xbox modding Plug & Play.  It's for beginners, advanced users need not use it.

I need to remove evolutionX from my new HDD, how might I do this?

Several options, but in any one case you'd better have a backup:

1) Do a format from the installer!  Option (7-1) - It will erase the entire HD and leave it blank!

2) Delete the files manually from C: (evoxdash.xbe, skins folder, items.txt, evox.ini)

What exactly are you trying to accomplish?

In the installer I rebuilt the new Xbox HDD I had, and I thought I was just formating the drive, but I figured out I was installing evolutionX to the HDD. This is a problem because with the current default network settings I cannot FTP to my Xbox.

How to I get back to the installer screen and format?

How to I get back to the installer screen and format?

Boot to EVOX from HDD, in the first screen go to SYSTEM MANAGEMENT
in the screen that comes up go to SYSTEM SETTINGS

make the changes you want in the IP settings and choose exit & Save at the very bottom way down there.

shut down and restart and ip is set

Also if you want to get back to the installer option screen just reboot from the INSTALLER CD.

Install the drive like it is set to master boot from the cd and select REBUILD LARGE HDD for your type of machine 1.0 or 1.1
thats all there is to it.
