A wierd thing is when you have the IGR option on, and use the reboot.xbe, it behaves differently.
The reboot.xbe used to just reload the dashboard, now it reboots the xbox, just like the 4 button way.

Perhaps that can give you a hint as to how the IGR option in evox works wink.gif

Who cares, booting the box takes about 3 secs. And it works great!
After rebooting you can even shutdown the box from Evox. Sweet!

By rebooting instead of dropping to dash, it does not work properly in retail games. If you have a retail disc in your dvd drive, it will automatically start that game after reboot. You then have a game booted without IGR loaded, and have to get up and eject if you want the dash. This also means you would have to get up and hit the power button to shut off, not shutdown the box from evox. tongue.gif

It is a great feature if you are running games off the HD, but it is rather flawed for use in retail games. If they made it drop to dash instead, it would work both ways. I of course have no clue how to do this though, and have no idea if it would be possible anyway, so...

Thanks to all the teams working on IGR, just a suggestion/request from those of us that do buy a few games. smile.gif

                                    That doesn't make any sense.

The reboot feature *is* for people playing games off the hard drive.  It's for switching to another game without getting off the couch.

If you're playing a game on a disc (burned or original), then what good will it do to reset the game?

you get what you give. Here you go:

We don’t give a fcuk what you think. So take your overtly complex questions which confuse us poor minions and ask elsewhere.

A civil request gets a civil response. Your request and subsequent response deserves minimal civility.

Work it out yourself, fool. If things are so simplistic here, why ask?

In its current state yes, you are correct and I know this. I was only requesting, for those that do know how to do this stuff, a similar solution that drops you to the dash instead of a full reboot.

I don't know how to program any of that stuff, and no where did I say that would be easy. I have mad respect for those that do perform this service for the scene.

I never said the solution was simple. I found my original statement to be rather simple to understand. Perhaps that is only because I wrote it. smile.gif

Current IGR does not do any good if there is a game or dvd in the d: drive. I simply stated that a drop to dash would be more useful. I don't even know if such a thing is possible, but it would be something I think many people would appreciate.

I did not need to be informed of who the current IGR was made for when the nfo for it clearly describes who, and I suppose that triggered the moody s.o.b. in me.  Once again... sorry.

The in game reset feature restarts the XBOX completely. If you would like to have the system restart to the EvoX then just get a BIOS that has this feature. I have the new EvoX but personally I didn't download it for this feature. I downloaded it to get the fixes/update. And as far as games go I think if you take off the auto launch feature it should solve your problem of having the game start everytime you reset the system. You can lauch the games by selecting your msdashboard, thats why you should put it for your first feature in your EvoX list unless you are using the in game reset. I would suggest this because if you use the reset to EvoX feature from the BIOS of you mod then you may incur the error of it starting to the default EvoX Dash. Anyways thats my thoughts on the subject. Peace

My xbox doesn't boot the dvd or the game if it is in the DVD-Rom beacause I have not enabled EvoX to do this.

Does your xbox starts up any type you put in your DVD after you used IGR?
Did you tried it with a music CD? A DVD movie?
