I challenge Team Xecutor to expose the method used for Evo-X's IGR and publish the code required to implement this, if the Evo-X team will not.

Their are claiming the IGR was done by them first, but EvoX did it entirely differently.  They are also bitching that EvoX made a BIOS that worked on both versions of the xbox... really stupid if you ask me (Team X's bitching).

As long as Xbox Live is around... and by the looks it it, Live is a HUGE success!! They will FORCE people to BUY games... period!!! In time your going to see 90% of games XBOX LIVE enabled for this very reason.

They want the unit to be cracked. Newbee's will countinue to get BANNED from Live forcing them to buy yet another XBOX and Live subscription! Newbee's will also countinue distroying units installing these modchips no matter how easy they make them... (look at Xodus... No soldiering and people still fuck it up!)... I could go on but you get the point. It's business!

And as for Team X...

They remind me of Apple with EvoX being the MS of the hack game. STOP BITCHING! They beat you to the punch. Face it!

                                    Unfortunately, it has been published many times that every time MS sells an XBOX, they actually lose money.   They make all their money of the games and accessories, not the original hardware.

So, with that being said, making XBOX Live games is definitely a plus because it forces people to buy the games (where they make most of their money).   Wanting people to mess up XBOXes and buy second ones can't be a goal of theirs because they lose money that way.   Sure they want more XBOXes to be sold, but they want them to be sold to individuals (not multiple to one user) so that they sell more games and such.

Anyway...  if you don't mind not having the online experience, there isn't much they can do now.

I still don't understand what makes releasing a bios that handles both 1.0 and 1.1 provides MS that releasing two separate ones doesn't.

As for the whining of Xecuter, well I respect both teams for what they have done but why are things always about "My di*k is bigger than yours"?

Even though MS loses money on every unit sold doesnt mean they dont want to sell more of them my friend. It's all about the numbers! and right now MS is trailing PS2 units sold by a mile and a half! Believe me... they dont mind people fuckin up their units and buying another one... or 3 more!!

                                    Well, business is about numbers but it isn't all about quantitiy sold but more about profits made.    The division that contains the XBOX lost 100s of millions and in the end, it has to make money.   Back in the internet bubble days, losing money was a good thing for some reason but since then, people are focusing on making money... go figure.

I agree that MS wants to up the sale of XBOXes to boost that number but they would much rather it be through market penetration to new customers than to existing customers that broke their XBOX.   Selling to new customers will up their numbers by increasing the sales of other products but selling to existing customers just loses them some money on the XBOX and inflates a number that quite honestly doesn't appeal to investors....   profit is what matters in todays economy.
