You have the utility needed to format the F partiton. FlashFXP
The instructions are here:
http://64.191.7.244/...hdd-install.php

Use the E parition to install apps too.
Do not install gigabyte games to the E partition.
Do not use C,X,Y or Z.

If you intend on installing games get a new hard drive.

Backup your xbox C partiton to a folder on your PC if you already have not.

If you have a newer 8 gig drive you are SOL.
Older Xbox's have a 10 gig drive and you can format the last 2 gigs but
only if your Mod/Bios supports it.

No, you should not have to format the entire drive.

OK.   Thanks.  I will give it a go over the week-end.

This may sound stupid, but I recently put on the EvoX Dash full-time - Latest Version 2812.

I connected using Flash FXP and tried to make a folder on this drive to put in Apps like DVD Region X but I can't seem to create the folder.  I add a new folder and name it through FXP but nothing ends up on the drive.

This has me stumped.  Am I missing something?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanx

There's a utility to format the F drive - I can't remember what it is, so look at the X-S tutorials

You can't format the F on an original 8Gb HDD as there is no free space. If U R lucky you may have a 10gb drive, and can therefore make F 2Gb.

If you have a larger HDD F will obviously be bigger
