Backups of Dragons lair 3D work fine.
You created or have a bad copy.

Test with the original disk.
If it works then you know your backup is bad.

I get the same results with both. Thats why I was wondering if it was my bios or maybe the monster cables hd pack I got.

I cannot verify HD pack problems.

I didnt read that part of your response in this post.
Definatley a no no on my part.
(sometimes I kick my own @ss)

Sounds like the HD pack or HD monitor is the problem.

HD is verified working, like switzch states, on some HD monitors tho:

I have a copy of DL3D also. It works fine on my Toshiba HD set. However, I've had the 720 setting set to off since Street Hoops wanted to send video in that resolution and my TV doesn't support it. So I would have sound but no video. Maybe I'll see of turning it back on will make the video come through at 720p instead of 1080i.

this is a little off topic, but I have a question regarding the HD aspect of xbox games.
I have a HDTV ready tv.  I use the component video outputs and optical cable (for audio)with my xbox.  Will I be able to see the game in HDTV or do I need an HD tuner since my TV is HDTV ready.  It doesn't have a built in HD tuner.
Thanks.

Dragons Lair is a know issue with all BIOS revs execpt Evox 2.6 and Executer 4973 and up!!!  This has been a know issue... I ran Evox 2.5 and Xecuter X2 v.1 4972 and it didnt boot off the DVD or the HDD!!!

X2 4973 BIOS [28 Nov 02]

As promised we have updated the BIOS yet again. Don't ask us for the files you can find it in the usual places.
Changes in X2 4973 for v1.0 and v1.1 256k:

- Fixed "Non-Boot" IGR Problem (tested on Silent Hill 2, Linux, Dragons Lair & Others)
- Fixed "only needed one trigger for reset" bug
- Added S-Type Controller Reset (LTRIG+RTRIG+BACK+BLACK)

Well the way I understand it. If your tv is HDTV ready you have what you need. That means the tv capable of displaying the resolution. You just a way for the tv to decode the info. For the xbox you have what you need. For tv you'll need an HDTV tuner/reciever. Good Luck.

BTW it wasn't the av pack tried another one. Found the new bios just can't make it 1 meg...Having trouble. I will post results when I do.

I have:
Evox Bios 2.4 & 2.5
Enigma Final
Evox V 2812.

Can't get DL 3D to work. I tried running it through my HD and off the dvd rom. No go.
Any Ideas? Can I maybe go back to another bios or evox dashboard to make it work?

Well changing the video mode wouldn't do it. I got th game just so I can see what an HD video game would look like. I have read the forum and have seen problems with Xecuter and stuff but have not found anything on Enigma. I just want to know if this is a known problem...but thanks for the help none the less. At least someone cares =)

I did the program I couldn't get it to work. I did however tried switching the setting in the dash. I had to disable 720 and 1080. At that point the game worked fine, but still no 1080 picture. Its the only reason I got the game. Has anyone else successfully got the 1080 to work on there in HDTV?

I bought monster cables HD pack. I know I have it connected right. Is there something other than what I have to get it to work?
