What kind of chip and which bios are you using?

i got the matrix and when the evox , screen comes up i look under bios and it says unknown ..so i really dont know excaly , but i did flash it isint that suppose to give it the bios or something?

If your trying to link MS dashboard with evox, you must have the dash msxbdash.xbe on the hdd or it won't load it.

As he said, READ THE TUTORIALS. It explains exactly what you need to do, which is this, in short:

1) boot from evo-x CD.
2) ftp into it
3) move files around and copy evo-x to hdd
4) remove CD and boot to evo-x

done.

I can boot from CD.I just cant connect to my xbox from FlashFXP , i hit F4 and make a new site , then i put in the IP address which is 192.168.0.3 .. and i put in the username and password then i hit connect and it says connecting , and just stays like that . WTF is the problem?

Your xbox and your PC are likely not on the same subnet. Is your PC ip 192.168.0.xxx? Another thing thats fairly obvious is, are they on the same physical network? Either via a xover cable or a switch. Do each have a link light?

yeah my ip is right we have our computer hooked up to a router and the lights are on for 3 and 4 which is the computer and xbox

If you have set the correct IP address on both the evox.ini and your PC, thats half the battle. You haven't mentioned what kind of setup you have so I can't advise any further. For FTP, make sure of the following:

SetupNetwork = Yes

[FTP]

Enable = Yes

If your on a straight xbox --> pc connection, i.e with a crossover cable, then STATIC IP should be set to YES also.
