Slow To F Drive Only

Whell here we are 1.5 month later. I'm looking for the answer why I can upload like 4 mBytes /s to e: and 500 kBytes to f:. Can anyone post the link to the thread with the answer?

u get 4mb/s to ur E partition ?????

i only get 1mb     and from xbox to pc  i get 10mb with a D-Link network card

what could be the problem  that i get slow speed from pc to xbox  ?

argghh no one is answering... i searched for ages to find the soln to slow to f.

Opjose: its not in the guy's first post. I searched for posts made by the poster of this thread (forgot his name)

does this only happen to hte default hdd that comes with the xbox?

I have exactly the same symptoms and I've searched evrywhere and just cant find any information on the "slow F drive problem".

Threre is quite a few of us with this problem...

hey...ok guys look... it always goes slow to F if you have the orignal hard drive that came with your xbox, switch them with a bigger one and it'll go faster, also its different for all of the drives... e--4-5 mb/s f-300-1 mb/s and  y-35 mb/s but you have to live with it as you can see cuz you guys all have original makes...so get a new and bigger HD and it goes faster stop complaining about it, you can't fix it. also the f drive only have 2 extra gigs... its 2 gigs who gives a fuck dumb asses.. go put one game on it.. or you could buy it in the amount of time you spent BITching about it... put little files on the f to make it go faster.. emulators apps and such and just use your e drive for games

the bigger hd has worked for my FTP speed to go faster 5 times

Search properly! Replave the Evox with the latest version. This was a known error and has now been fixed! I had no trouble finding the threads! wink.gif
