The log indicates that the Xbox sent the data correctly. The problem is that your PC didn't receive it, did receive it but did not close out the data or write it out, or something else such as a virus, networking problems etc.

The XBox IS sending data, which is why you saw
"226 Transfer finished successfully. Data connection closed."

This was sent to FlashXP by the Xbox.

Check your PC settings, you are almost there!

Things to try:

1 - A different and LONGER crossover cable (some cards have a real hard time with 3' or shorter cords as they see the low resistance as a shorted connection)
2 - Unplug and re-insert the cords on both ends.
3 - Upgrade your Windows Drivers for the LAN card
4 - Move the LAN card to another slot and/or use different I/O and IRQ addresses (highly likely to be the problem)
5 - Use a different LAN card
6 - Use a HUB.
7 - Make sure you are using Evolution-X 1.8.2xxx not 1.8.4xx

the problem lay in the default authentication settings for the network card.
Windows XP home sets authentication to "Enable network access control using IEEE 802 1X" i disabled this and away it went.
