The tutorials doesn't work for me!!!
They are verry UNCLEAR!
Take that ip you have to fill in your xbox ==> x is a number between 1 and 255... WOOOW I'm gonne try 254 numbers RIGHT!
Someone should make a new one with much more details... and a tutorial setting up flashfxp too cause I think flashfxp doesn't recognise my netwerk adapter...

If the tutorials don't work for you, you have no business anywhere NEAR a mod chip, let alone an XBox.
Sorry it's just WAY too complicated for you. Have someone else set you up.
You are supposed to read the tutorials to LEARN, then come here and post questions when you've encountered something not covered by the tutorials.
See:
http://www.tuxedo.or...ons.html#AEN353
You'll get a LOT further.
Posting the same question to multiple forums is just plain
RUDE!

The tutorials doesn't cover my problem ...
I am using an USB ethernet adapter and there is nothing about that in the tutorials...
As the turorials say everything should work the first time. but there is no explanation if you have any problem...
I get a link to my pc but flashfxp just doesn't connect. all the IP, Gateway and submask are all good.
So If anyone have a USB ethernet adapter and it works please tell me...
Thanks!
Finally an intelligent question...
The tutorials are purposely written for direct ethernet connections.
USB 1.1 connections will be too slow to be of any use for you. Even 10baseT is very slow for gigabyte transfers.
Get an ethernet adaptor and follow the tutorials. If you do things work very well...

yes it will work, but USb 1.1 is only 12MB/sec
if it's USB 2 it will be fine though i guess.

oh,
but the box says I have a 100MB/full duplex connection
and my adapters LED is green what means it's connected with an 100MB source
Yes, when you have your USB network connection set up properly you'll be able to PING the Xbox's IP address.
E.G. "ping 169.254.198.79"
However, why are you using a non-reserved IP address?
As I mentioned before you should be following the tutorials and utilize a reserved IP address, eg. 192.168.0.2, etc.
START by trying the tutorials -PLEASE-!
Use the IP's and information the tutorials show, not what you are making up.

You should NOT even be using E:\ it is for save games, extra content and music files you rip from CD's via the built in media player.
If you want to put things on the hard drive, you need a bigger drive.
