Ya that is correct. Evox 1.8 is like a new dashboard for ur xbox or sumthing like that. They should've really rename it so it wouldn't be so confusing.

The 2.4 seems to be the Bios (in replacement of the M$ one) and the1.8.x is more like an application (ftp, IP, etc.). Am I right ?

all you have to do is flash your openxbox with the file: "EvolutionX beta 1.8.2594.rar"
