I am sure that most games (aside from when movies are playing, etc.) do not 'write' anything to the HDD during game play (unless ofcourse you are saving or loading a level)

I'd be surprised if MS didn't think this issue through while designing the xbox! But then again, MS does have a reputation for this sort of stuff...

I guess we'll have to wait and see.

                                    So far it hasnt done it to me but my m8s xbox when he was playing star wars obi wan it was CONSTANTLY writing to xbox hdd during gameplay and that can't be gud 4 it can it? uhh.gif

                                    How do you know its 'writing' to the HDD? I'm gussing you installed an external LED and druing gameplay it flickers... if so, then it could just be reading from the drive!
