Problems With Extracting Large Iso Files
« on: September 14, 2002, 08:44:00 AM »

When I try to extract large xbox images (1,5 - 3 Gb) with Xiso or XboxIsotool it gives an error at about 700 Mb this happens with Games Like Azurik and Death to Rights for example.

Has anyone seen this problem before?

I believe the problem is due to corruption in the ISO  I noticed that I can only sucessfully run games from the HD if xboxisotool1.1 extracts them sucessfully.

What I would love to know is if xboxisotool1.1 extracts the iso into files, will anything be missing?

Basically I want to know if it will then be safe to delete the iso itself to save space?

If I and to burn a dvd I can just to UDF burn onto dvd with RecordMax, correct?

Anyone have any ideas?

Yeah you hit the nail squarely on the head on this one!

This alone is a good test, in case you are getting "freezing" with ISO's.
