Hey everyone.

My problem is that my xbox won´t boot anymore.I installed the new evoxlution X beta.Just renamed all the file a uploaded them to the harddrive.After this I turned off the xbox and turned it on again. From than on the xbox won´t boot anymore.The XBOX logo is coming up on the screen and after three to five secondes the box resets and you see the boot logo again.And this is happening again and again?

Furthermore I´m not able to boot from the CDs/DVDs anymore.

So what can I do?

I hop someone can help me.

Hehe, your screwed.

Only solutions are:

1) Borrow someone elses XBox DVD drive.
2) Install a PC DVD drive
3) Reburn your Evolution CD and hope it works.

Sounds like you have a problem with your evol.ini file...

did you try straight booting yoru original evox cd?

(cd in tray, hitting power, not eject?)

definately sounds like a problem with your menu.ini (thats if you installed evoX 2.2 or less)
try booting from the evox cd, make sure there is a .ini file on the disk too.

lythboy is right

don't listen to these guys and take your xbox apart there in no need to

put evolutionx on a cdrw with the default menu.ini and it will boot

once booted, get rid of the bad menu.ini file you put on your xbox

replace it with a good menu.ini file and it should work fine

but, it is defenitely a bad menu.ini if you ask me

and if it is the "new" evox you might have to delete the onld menu.ini file because the new evox uses evox.ini instead of menu.ini

maybe you have the two menu files, menu.ini and evox.ini and they are conflicting

Yeah sounds like a menu.ini/evox.ini config problem.
Put your evox cd in the drive & turn off the xbox. Then hit the power button & it will boot the disc before going to the hard drive (where the problem is). Then you can connect the ftp & copy over the good files

WORST case scenario is that you pop the drive out and HDDprep it again and start from scratch.

Best case is that you follow their info on making an EVOX CD-RW and trying to recover that way first.
