Before you say it, yes, I am an idiot.  

I have a chipped xbox and a soft modded box.  I used the eeprom from the soft modded box to format a 120 gig hard drive in the chipped one then put the hard drive in the soft modded one.  I didn't change the eeprom back in the chipped box and now my hard drive on my comp (with the backup eeprom) is dead.

I can't network these things on a switch because they have the same mac address now.  I can use ConfigMagic to change the mac address so they will network.  But what do i change it to?

Can i simply change the last digit to make them different?  Will this work?

For example:

09:00:07:A9:B2:EB

Can this be changed to:

09:00:07:A9:B2:EC   ????
