Not Much Luck Running Games From F Drive
« on: August 21, 2002, 02:36:00 AM »

I've successfully copied halo to my e partition and it runs just fine.  I then noticed that the e partition was the small one.  After that I tried copying games to my f drive (115gigs or so)

All games on the f drive have the same results:  After selecting the game from the evo menu, the evo logo comes up for a couple of seconds like it's working and then I go back to the main evo menu once again.  This happens for both Jedi fighter and the 007 game.

I'm using the evo2.1 bios if I remember right (on a homebrew) as well as the latest version of evolutionx.

Anyone have any ideas of what's wrong?

I switched the BIOS to extender 1.1 since I had a chip floating around with it already burned in.  Now it tells me that the F drive is 0 bytes big.

Does extender1.1 support the no-patch hack?  If so, do I need to reformat my hard drive if it was formatted under evo2.1 in order to make its size visible?

x-tender 1.1. does NOT support larger hard drives -- you need to use either the evox 2.2 or 2.3 bios (2.2 should be included with your copy of the evox iso/dashboard) -- just re-flash with one of those and everything should work fine
