What mod bios do you have? It has to be an evox, x-ecuter, or any other bios that allows hardrive replacement for extra space on that f partition.

he claims to have an x-ecuter and evox bios, but i don't see how that's possible unless he flashed his onboard bios with evox and then installed x-ecuter. most likely he has x-ecuter with evox dashboard, not bios. but it should support the hdd.

I was having this problem on a homebrew chip.
It is a problem with the bios.
I got the Evo2.3 Bios and the Bios-splitter
re-flashed and it worked fine.

im not sure how you can adapt that to X-ecuter

ok i will be more specific. It is the x-ecuter bios running the evox software.  I also notice that when i am trying to copy C from the original harddrive to my pc i get stuck in this infinite loop where the subfolder audio links back to the root. so its endless. That is on the factory drive. On the 120gb drive I have a similar problem with E.

If evox is working then its safe to assume my mod chip is fuctioning. Correct? I mean a bad install job would mean that it simply wouldn't work not that it would work but harddrive stuff wouldn't. That would be really odd.

As I said, I had the same problem.
The games and evox dash etc worked fine.
But I couldn't copy data to F
and evox said the size was zero.

I put my drive in a mates xbox and he saw the free space fine.

Re-Flashed the bios and then I could format and copy data to F
