i had the same problem- use a dif - iso.. the one you have
is missing the menu on the iso.. look for Evo-Menu.iso

I'm also having trouble trying to install Evo-x on my X-cuter modded Xbox? All other cds like the ntsc/pal selector one works fine with this all i get is "You Xbox can't recognise this disc. Also tried different media and the file i got was from someone who had installed it on their system already?

I had the same problem... in the beginning... you might just want to keep trying the disc... I would sometimes have to boot it 10 to 15 times to get it to work...

...that's what started it all... because of that I flashed the TSOP, which led to replacing the HDD... the rest is history
