Why does it matter?! 1.5 mb/s is still very very fast...most people only get about 700 kb/s! Don't complain because its not as fast...be thankful that u even have it!@

Mines gone about 3000KB/s constant on 100mbit full duplex with normal xb hdd.

1.5 might be fast, but not as fast as 5.0+....if you could have the faster speed would you want it?....yes........I had it and I want it back!!!!

Has anyone else had speed drops since installing a new HD?

I just started rippring games yesterday and use a crossover cable with NIC. I get speeds of 1.5mb am lucky I can do that cos its been a bitch to set up and I still have trouble burning them.  I think the speed of transfer depends on memory, hdd space, quality of cable. I paid £2 for my cable so i guess its bound to be slow for that much.  any way at least we're ripping games.
