You shouldn't normally see the "VIDEO_TS" unless you are attempting to read the DVD with a PC DVD drive... however, I *HAVE* seen this problem on my own machine, while tweaking the pots.
Let the system warm up a bit and see what happens (also make sure you didn't jar the cables away from the DVD drive inside)
