Usbstick
« on: December 29, 2004, 02:33:00 AM »

First of all i buyed a usbstick (a SuperTalentFlash, 32Mb) and tryed it in my Xbox using a Usb->Xbox converter (made by myself).

First a error message came up "Your memory card isn´t functioning. It may be damaged..."
Then i tryed to format it in the computer a couple of times... (but only to FAT AND WITH NO LABEL!)
Then i tryed it again and it worked...i earsed in the Xbox...
Test played 007 : AUF and saved a game...
Started MS Dash again...and then it came up "Your memory card isn´t functioning. It have been earsed...".
Then i tryed 007 : AUF again and when i wanted to save it came up that the usbstick was "UNUSABLE"...
Started MS Dash again and earsed the usbstick...

Now it works but...i cant upload saves to the usbstick from the Xbox (i can only "Delete" from the harddrive.

Help me plz...

Reading these posts its a very long but informing process but there could be alot of things which may be wrong...
But the tutorial in the previous post works...I did it last night just to try it out for something to do !!!

I used Apacer Handy Steno 2.0  64mb stick and all was well in the end...
Generally seems, if you put the stick in xbox it gives that fail signal, it actually formats it...If that happens it should read it...

http://xbox-linux.so...mpatibilityList
is a compatibility list look here for more help...

You say you use the maxdrive now??  and it works good but can't access no more?
What does that mean ???  AR won't transfer the saves or what??
If your stick is compatible and you follow the tutorial above it does work !!!!! beerchug.gif
If you have the same drama as me with not able to get the saves loaded in AR then read my post here...
