Flashing Bios With Xecuter Chip

HI all,
has anyone managed to flash the bios with the Xecuter chip installed?
I know its only 1 wire but I'm sure the chip also makes contact with other parts of the board. How do I disable the chip ready to flash the xbox? is it  case of putting a switch on the one wire??

any help would be appreciated..
