I know you can't connect the HD that comes with the xbox to a PC without the swap trick. My question is more based on the following. After you condition the new larger disk to work on the xbox and then get the passkey for each partition and format it. Why is it that you can still load it on a pc and see the drive through winhex without the cable swap trick?
Is this normal or is this still additional information into the puzzle of why I can't get my HD to work correctly in replacing my drive.
