Yeah... it does that on mine too. I found when I wasn't downloading anything off the internet then it was alright.... maybe just coincidence, though.

Don't put anything on X, y, or Z drives. Those are cache folders that get deleted by the xbox.

yep. same hear. transferring files is very shakey. ive had most problems ripping games from the dvd to my pc. flashfxp would time out like 100x during the dumping of jet set and silent hill. but i eventually got all the files. when i send files to the xbox, it always works. not stable at all.
