Need help with the menu.ini file...do I have to make this file cuz it's not on my xbox

you dont have to have it on there but it helps if you want to add your own launch things or if you want access to the flash bios options (I think that isnt on there unless specified).
Be careful if you edit the menu.ini, as one mistake can make your xbox go into a booting loop. Fixed by having a known good menu.ini on a disc with the evoX program just in case.

That is the problem...I have no menu.ini file at all....except for what is posted above that I have copied....There is none on my xbox hd like the tutorials located here say there is..

The evolution x iso was not distrubted with a menu-ini, that's why you didn't have it.. I don't know if it was an oversite on their part or something, but either way, tha's why you can't find it.
