Evolutionx Dashboard

I would just like to get a little advice before I delete my original xboxdash.xbe file.  If have already backed up my original xboxdash.xbe file to my PC and replaced it with the EvoX dashboard, will I ever be able to reload the original xboxdash.xbe file to the xbox.  Basically, will I ever be able to reload the original MS dashboard so that it would be like I never even messed with it.  Thanks for any advice.

yeah, just call the original dash - msxboxdash.xbe and leave it on your xbox harddisc. I have the Evolution dash  on my xbox without the menu.ini and the original dash called 'msxboxdash.xbe' and it boots that fine. I can now listen to my audio tracks.

So you should have the evolution dash titled xboxdash.xbe and the original titled msxboxdash.

Here's what i did. I renamed the original dash and added it in the menu so if i want to load it i can.

      Section "Apps"
      {
                       Item "Original DashBoard","c:\xboxdashO.xbe"
                       Item "Media Player","e:\apps\xbmedia\default.xbe"
                       Item "Video Mode Select V2","e:\apps\videomode\default.xbe"
                       Item "Explorer","e:\apps\xplorer\default.xbe"
                       Item "Xcopy","e:\apps\Xcopy\default.xbe"
         AutoAddItem "e:\apps\"
         AutoAddItem "f:\apps\"
      }

I did the same thing as the above post...I just linked my original dash in the menu.ini file!
